April Fools 2011: Genre switchby ~Elyandarin

For my April Fools Switch this year, I went for a Genre shift,
with my characters taking up positions in a Star Trek / FireFly / KotOR / Red Dwarf kind of setting.

I was amused when I realized Ai was a much better fit than Ben for the pseudo-Jedi position - Futuristic!Ben is all about the Science

I had started to make Futuristic!Ai into a Kryten/C3PO kind of robot, but in the end, I couldn't go through with it - it seemed too cruel...
Whether psychic powers actually exist in the setting is something I'll leave undecided.
